The first-ever Cube Battle Live Battle Bracket Challenge happens today, July 25, 2026. The seeding window opens at 6:45 PM Central, and the bracket battles begin at 7:00 PM Central sharp.

If you registered, warm up before 6:45, then complete your seeding solve during the window. If you just want to watch, you only need the timeline: seed at 6:45, battle at 7:00.

How the knockout bracket works

Every cuber first completes a seeding solve on the same locked scramble. That time sets your seed — your position in the bracket — with faster seeds earning an easier opening room. Nobody who seeds is cut: the field rounds up to fill the bracket, and any empty seats become byes that fall to the top seeds.

From there it is a knockout. Cubers are placed into four-person rooms, everyone races the same scramble each round, and the fastest two average-of-five results advance. Rooms narrow round by round — quarterfinals, then semifinals, then a final room — until one cuber posts the fastest final average and takes the title.

Because every room runs on a shared scramble and a best-of-five average, the results stay clean and comparable. There is no luck-of-the-single deciding a champion — you have to be fast and steady across all five solves.

How to watch it live

You do not need an account to spectate. Cube Battle Live has a live tournament view that shows every bracket room at once — each cuber's clock ticking in real time, standings re-sorting as solves land, and the top two in every room highlighted as they advance.

Open the tournament on the site once battles begin, tap Watch Live, and follow the whole bracket from one screen. It is a great one to prop up on a tablet or share into a group chat so friends can follow along.

Crowning a champion

When the final room resolves, the fastest average is your Battle Bracket champion, and the top three finishers form the podium. Champions and podium finishers earn a badge on their Cube Battle Live profile, so a strong result today follows you around the community.
