A Big Cube Battle Live Update Is Coming Soon
The next Cube Battle Live update is getting close — and it is built around one idea: make tournament night, live battles, and everyday practice feel smoother everywhere you solve.
Cube Battle Live is getting bigger
The first iPhone version of Cube Battle Live brought the timer, sessions, ranked attempts, leaderboards, tournaments, friends, and notifications into a real mobile app. The next update keeps pushing that forward.
This upcoming release is focused on making Cube Battle Live feel better on more screens, especially for cubers who want to use the app at home, at comps, or during Battle Bracket nights.
iPad support is on the way
The big one: iPad support is coming soon. The iPad layout gives Cube Battle Live more room to breathe, with a sidebar-style navigation, larger timer space, and better access to the sections you use most.
That matters because an iPad is almost perfect for cubing. You can set it beside your mat, use it as a clean tournament dashboard, or keep live rooms and brackets visible without squinting at a tiny screen.
Better Battle Bracket flow
Battle Brackets are also getting smoother. When a bracket is live, the app can point you straight toward the action instead of making you hunt for the next step.
If your Battle Bracket room is ready, you will be able to jump into it from the tournament screen. If you are watching, you can follow the live bracket map and spectator view. If the bracket is complete, you can open the finished bracket and see how it played out.
Built for real cubing nights
This update is not just about adding buttons. It is about making Cube Battle Live easier to use when things are actually happening — seeding windows, bracket rooms, live battles, friend activity, and tournament notifications.
The goal is simple: when it is time to solve, the app should tell you where to go and then get out of the way.
More tools are coming after that
We are also looking at more practical cubing tools for future updates, including a cleaner scramble generator and a competition average calculator for entering official comp times and instantly seeing your average or mean.
Cube Battle Live started as a timer, but it is becoming a full speedcubing home: practice, race, rank, battle, and keep improving.
